Refund & Return Policy

Surplus Edition offers curated surplus goods as-is. All sales are final unless the item arrives damaged or is materially different from the description.

Returns

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • Item arrives damaged during shipping
  • Item received is materially different from the product description
  • Item is defective or unusable

Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging.


Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Food products (specialty ingredients, beverages, pantry items)
  • Items marked as short-dated or seasonal
  • Promotional swag or clearance items sold as-is
  • Items opened, used, or removed from original packaging

How to Request a Return

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item. Include details about the issue.

We’ll review your request and respond within 2 business days with the next steps.


Refunds

Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, damaged in transit).


Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. Surplus inventory changes weekly, and we cannot guarantee the availability of replacement items.

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, we will issue a refund upon receipt of the return.


Please note: Surplus Edition sells curated overstock from various suppliers. Items are offered as available and may have minor cosmetic imperfections in packaging. This does not affect product quality and is not grounds for return.
